Audio Descriptive Tour of Exhibition Hall
This narrated, self-guided tour provides visitors who are blind or have low vision with audio description of the exhibits in Exhibition Hall. Visitors may download the tour to their personal device by clicking this link. This audio-descriptive tour is also available on a handheld device which may be requested from the Office of Congressional Accessibility Services (OCAS).
Touchable Models and Braille
Exhibition Hall features many touchable architectural models and objects, all of which include Braille transcriptions.
Universal Keypads for Computer Interactive Displays
Visitors have the option of using a universal keypad for interactive displays that provides an alternative method for navigating touchscreens. The keyboards also provide access to text-to-speech audio and audio description for interactive visuals. Visitors can activate the keypad and access these features by using headphones with a 3.5 mm audio jack. Visitors may use their own headphones or obtain a pair for use in Exhibition Hall at the Information Desks.
Closed Captioning
All films throughout Exhibition Hall feature open captioning, and audio stations at feature written transcripts for visitors who are deaf or hearing impaired.
